Welcome to the Purchasing Division's...Bid Board

The Bid Board is presented to announce upcoming Invitation for Bids (IFB), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Request for Quotes (RFQ) - which have an estimated value of at least $50,000. IFB, RFP and RFQ announcements will remain on the Bid Board for a period of 10 days after the due date. You may also review recently awarded bids via the Bid Board.

In order to be assured of receiving addenda and other information about bids and RFP's, vendors need to notify the Purchasing Division when they have downloaded a desired bid package. This can be accomplished by completing the Vendor_Registration_Form -AND- by contacting the Purchasing Division via phone: (757) 514-7520, fax: (757) 514-7524 or Purchasing e-mail.

In some cases, attendance at a pre-bid or pre-proposal conference will be a requirement for submitting a bid or proposal.

Bids and proposals must be received and time stamped in the Purchasing Division office prior to the date and time specified in the solicitation document. Late bids and proposals are not accepted. It is the offeror's responsibility to assure that bids and proposals are received in the Purchasing Division office prior to the specified time.
