Purpose
The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to select one qualified contractor to provide annual requirements related to tire recapping services on an as needed basis for the City???s Department of Public Works, Fleet Management Division. Work shall be in accordance with all specifications, terms, and conditions herein.
Notes
4.1 General Requirements A. The City requires pickup of tire casings by the next business day after notification of a service request. Recapped tires are to be returned to the Fleet Management facility within seven (7) working days after request. B. Repeated failure to furnish materials on time, poor quality of work, or unacceptable performance on the part of the contractor shall be deemed sufficient cause for cancellation of the Agreement by the City.
