Payment for Bid Document: Bid Documents can be obtained from the office of AECOM, 440 Monticello Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23510 (757) 306-4000, and will only be issued as complete sets, for a non-refundable fee of $60.00 per set. Payment will be accepted in the form of check made payable to ???TREASURER, CITY OF SUFFOLK??? only. Credit cards will not be accepted, nor will separate invoices be issued. Firms requesting direct delivery of Bid Documents shall also include separate payment for a non-refundable handling fee of $60.00 per set, made payable to ???ENGINEER???. Delivery service shall be at the requesting firm's expense and the firm shall provide a FedEx or UPS Account Number for delivery. Bid documents may be obtained in electronic pdf format, free of charge, through direct electronic transfer. Invitation for Bid documents in electronic format may be obtained by submitting an e-mail request to michael.chen@aecom.com. Firms requesting electronic format bid documents must provide a contact name, name of firm they represent with mailing address, and an e-mail address for receipt of electronic files. Firms requesting electronic transfer will receive an e-mail link for direct download. Bid documents may also be obtained in CD format from the City of Suffolk Purchasing Office for a non-refundable fee of $5.00. Payment will be accepted in the form of check made payable to ???TREASURER, CITY OF SUFFOLK??? only. Credit cards will not be accepted, nor will separate invoices be issued. Firms requesting direct delivery of CD of Bid Documents via US Postal Service shall also include an additional payment for a non-refundable handling fee of $5.00 per CD.
Purpose
Provide all plant, labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and other ancillary items necessary, as identified in Section 01010 (Summary of Work) of these Contract Documents, in order to complete Maple Hills / Forest Glen Sanitary Sewer and Water Extension Phase IIB and Pump Station #161 to the limits shown on the drawings in accordance with all specifications, terms, conditions, and drawings herein.
